A small boat collection provided a nice morning out for the team last week. Small boat collections are always fairly straight forward as it's relatively easy to winch them onto our trailer.

The Boatbreakers team were on the road last week. It was a trip to Stratford Upon Avon for a boat mould disposal job. There were three large GRP boat moulds with multiple smaller moulds inside. Judging by the size of the moulds the boats that came out of them were big!

A boat in a field provided a change of scenery for the team last week. Our most recent boat scrap job seemed to be a simple one on the surface.

Boatbreakers collect and dispose of hundreds of boats every year. The vast majority of boats that we collect across the UK would’ve come from the marinas or boatyards. However, you may be surprised to know that the next most frequent boat removal location is from peoples gardens or driveways.

Last week the team had a call from a lady in London. Her speedboat had been caught up in a houseboat fire.

Our most recent job was a small scrap yacht collection from a car park in Lymington.

Eastney beach is a hot spot for end-of-life and abandoned boats. Over the years the Boatbreakers team has been tasked with removing many of the boats that have been ditched on the beach by former owners.

2019 has been a busy year for Boatbreaker so far. From our first day back in after the new year we had boats turning up for disposal.

A marina in Gosport has become a dumping ground for dumped boats. The problem of owners leaving a boat to rot in a boatyard is a growing issue.

A Dell Quay Ranger 27 arrived in the yard today for disposal. If you are looking for parts for a Ranger 27 please get in contact fast as she won't be around for long.

In between the stormy wind and showers this week our team have been out collecting abandoned boats. The boats in question were rowing boats left on a public pontoon.
