Scrap a Boat

The Boat breakers marine recycling team were in Eastbourne to remove a Trintella 1a Yacht for disposal.

Abandoned boats are a sad reality for the boating community across the UK. One of our latest collections was sadly an abandoned boat close to home in Gosport.

An old Colvic UFO 27 landed in the boat scrapyard after being collected from a yard in Chatham.

Our marine recycling and boat disposal team had a local collection for a Searider 25. The yacht was on a mooring near Titchfield Haven which is a popular bird watching reserve.

One of our latest collections was a storm damaged Quicksilver in Devon. The boat was at a property in Dawlish.

Last week an old Sabre 27 was collected for disposal from Kemps Quay in Southampton. She was once the family's pride and joy but in recent years had fallen into a state of disrepair.

This week the boat breakers team were in Oxford, waste deep in the River Thames. We had been asked to remove an abandoned boat from the river by Oxford University.

The only way was Essex for the collection team at the beginning of May. We were tasked with collecting a Snapdragon 747 from a boat club near Southend-on-Sea.
