The start of Spring has turned into Dinghy scrap season for the Boatbreakers team. All of a sudden we have been inundated with requests to scrap unwanted dinghies.

The start of Spring has turned into Dinghy scrap season for the Boatbreakers team. All of a sudden we have been inundated with requests to scrap unwanted dinghies.
The Boatbreakers team were asked to scrap a sunken wooden boat from Chichester Marina. "Mr Whippy" has unexpectedly sunk on mooring in the marina and had to be re-floated and hauled out to the hard standing.
Our marine recycling team were in West Wales this week to collect an Achilles 24. The yacht had been sat in a Yacht club car park in Aberaeron.
The boat breaking team were on the doorstep of Portchester Castle to collect a scrap Westerly Centaur.
The Boat breakers team were in Kent on a farm to collect and end of life Anderson 22 Sailing Yacht for disposal.
Just before Christmas we had been asked to collect and remove a Newbridge Navigator yacht. The boat was sat on a driveway next to a house in Swindon.
Our boat disposal team were tasked with removing two small boats from a garden in Northampton. This would usually be a simple enough job.
The Boatbreakers team were on the road again. This time to collect a Caprice 19 from a property in Berkshire. Just a few miles from Highclere Castle (the set of Downton Abbey) the small yacht had been stored in a field.
Our yacht disposal team had a derelict Dockrell 22 boat to collect this week. We had been contacted by a local lady who owned some moorings in Chichester Harbour.
Our Boatbreakers team were in Blyth for a boat disposal mission this week. We had been asked to collect and dispose of a Soling 27. The old fin keel yacht was sat on a trailer in the boat yard.
Our Boatbreakers team were in a forest near Beaulieu to collect a scrap dinghy. The old dinghy had spent its life moored on the Beaulieu river which cuts through the New Forest.
Boat disposal jobs pop up all over the country for the Boatbreakers team. But we always enjoy a trip down to Devon. Boat collections in Devon take us into some picture postcard like towns.
