How It Works
Giving Your Boat a Second Chance
Too Good To Scrap is designed for vessels that still have plenty of life left in them, or for owners whose current situation makes a quick, hassle-free sale the best path forward. Here is how we help you find the right buyer instead of sending your boat to be recycled.
Submit Your Details
Start by filling out our standard scrap quote form. Our team reviews every submission. If we spot a boat with real potential, or if your situation calls for a rescue sale rather than immediate dismantling, we will offer you the Too Good To Scrap process as an alternative.
Agree Terms & Invoicing
We’ll discuss the setup, agree on a price, and send over the invoice to get the process officially underway.
Build the Listing
We collect key technical specs, history, and detailed photos from you to craft a compelling advert. If your vessel is located near our yard, our team may even be able to visit in person to take high-quality photographs ourselves.
Launch & Promotion
Once the invoice is settled, your listing goes live on the Too Good To Scrap section. We also push it directly to our active Facebook Group community to maximise exposure.
Enquiries Delivered to You
We run the listing as a silent auction to protect your privacy. Every few days (depending on demand), we collate all buyer offers and questions into a single digest email and send them straight to your inbox.
Viewings & Sale
You review the incoming interest, select the prospective buyers you’d like to speak with, arrange viewings, and finalize the sale directly on your terms.
