Whether it is a minor project hull, a sound boat needing cosmetic TLC, or an owner whose circumstances have changed, breaking down a usable vessel is always a last resort. That is why we operate Lonely Boats®, our dedicated boat rehoming platform designed to match pre-loved craft and project boats with enthusiastic new owners across the UK.

How Lonely Boats® Works

Lonely Boats® operates much like a silent auction platform for pre-owned, bargain, and project craft. We take away the hassle of traditional brokerage fees by charging a single, simple flat fee with zero sales commission.

Sellers can choose between two straightforward listing packages:

  • Standard Listing
    Your vessel is advertised directly on the Lonely Boats website.

  • Plus Listing
    Your vessel is published on the website and featured across our active Facebook group community for maximum visibility.

The Rehoming Process for Sellers

  • List Your Vessel
    Submit your boat’s details, photos, specifications, and asking price (or list it as “Free to Good Home”).

  • Receive Enquiries & Offers
    Prospective buyers register their interest and optional offer amounts on your listing page. We batch and forward these direct to your inbox every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning.

  • Complete the Sale
    You deal directly with interested buyers to answer questions, arrange viewings, and close the agreement; keeping 100% of the final sale price.
