Boatbreakers® are happy to support Stolenboats.org.uk which is a site set up to help highlight the problem of boat and marine equipment theft across the UK using data from the Police databases or Insurance companies.

Our friends at The LightHouse have asked us to put out a request for any old charts that you may have. They're looking for old nautical charts that they can use to be transformed into stunning works of art with integrated lighting systems.

As mentioned on our @boatbreakers Twitter feed there will soon be one of our old boats featuring in a movie. The film is Free Fire, which is a all action shoot'em up beaten two gangs in an abandoned warehouse.

At Boatbreakers® our aim it to be able to dispose of any boat of any size in a responsible way. We are also always trying to keep the process cost effective.

The Boatbreakers® team have made an exciting addition to the team this week with the arrival of our new work boat "Solent Spray". She is a Mitchell 22 Sea Angler in perfect condition.

The latest job for our team at Boatbreakers® was an on site yacht mould disposal in Marchwood. We got the call from the owners of the mould and we arranged a site visit to gauge whether we could transport the mould to our yard or if we'd have to chop the mould on site.

Boatbreakers may soon have a perfect project boat available for any lovers of the Moody 336 model. We were recently contacted by a family who now need to shift a Moody 336 which is in project condition.

Every day through Boatbreakers and BuyAnyBoat.net we are offered new boats to consider. Some boats are nice enough to buy and sell on whilst others are clearly ready to be chopped up.

It's been a busy few months for Boatbreakers®. Apart from getting boats back to our yard from all over the country we've also recently set up our new office in Portsmouth. Our team recently had the chance of a meeting with our local MP Caroline Dineage in Gosport. We met to discuss what we see is the growing problem of end of life boats and how we aim to try and help.

It's been a little while coming but the Boatbreakers® team are finally on Instagram. We will try to post lots of pictures of all the interesting things that come through our scrapyard in Portsmouth as well as all the remote places we have to get boats out of.

It's been a busy couple of weeks at our yard in Portsmouth with a number of new arrivals joining our queue of boats waiting to be chopped up and recycled.
