Luke’s journey with us started over a decade ago in 2015, where he originally joined to write content and learn the industry ropes. Fast forward ten years, and he is now the Owner and Director of both Boatbreakers and Boat Scrapyard!

In that time, Luke has not only helped shape our online presence but also established Boatbreakers as the go-to authority for end-of-life boat solutions. His work has seen him featured in:

    Our marine recycling and boat disposal team had a local collection for a Searider 25. The yacht was on a mooring near Titchfield Haven which is a popular bird watching reserve.

  • Last week an old Sabre 27 was collected for disposal from Kemps Quay in Southampton. She was once the family's pride and joy but in recent years had fallen into a state of disrepair.

  • This week the boat breakers team were in Oxford, waste deep in the River Thames. We had been asked to remove an abandoned boat from the river by Oxford University.
