SeaSafe Dandy Collection from Hill Head Driveway
Our team doesn’t just collect boats from boatyards and marinas. Frequently, we find ourselves removing vessels from private driveways and gardens. This particular collection involved a SeaSafe Dandy located in Hill Head. The boat had been on this particular driveway for over 20 years!
Many boat owners opt for home storage, utilising available space. Without the burden of storage fees, boats can easily become neglected and fall into disrepair, prompting our team’s intervention.
Collection Day
This Seasafe Dandy had been residing in a driveway in Hill Head. After years of storage, the owner decided it was time to part with the boat. It was clear that the boat was no longer useable for him and he didn’t want the hassle of trying to sell.
Our team arrived as scheduled, carefully hitched the SeaSafe Dandy onto our truck, and secured it for transport. While this collection was straightforward, we often encounter challenges such as manoeuvring heavy boats through tight spaces or even needing to perform on-site dismantling. Fortunately, the Dandy was easily accessible, and we were able to park directly beside it. It’s always a slight worry when towing a trailer that hadn’t been moved for some time. However the owner did say the wheels were fairly new on there. Thankfully it was removed safely and without any issues.
