Speedboat Collection From Staines

A speed boat collection from Staines started off our December. It’s usually a very quiet month for us as the country gears up for Christmas.

Understandably people don’t choose the build-up to the festive season to deal with their problem boat. It’s usually once the last of the cold turkey has been finished off that attentions turn back to other issues. We often find that getting rid of a boat is more likely to be a new year’s resolution.

First Collection of December

All that being said we still have enquiries trickling in through our Scrap Calculator. Our first collection of December 2019 was a small speed boat from Staines. The boat is 14ft and is sat on a trailer. Apart from needing a good clean out, we couldn’t see much wrong with her.

The owner is sadly going through a divorce and was looking to clear all boat-related items from the property. Therefore whilst our team were there collecting the boat from the driveway we were asked to look at some brand new dinghies and a river cruiser still afloat on the Thames.

Thames Removal

We may soon be back up on the Thames removing the larger riverboat from her mooring outside of the house. In the meantime the small speedboat will be offered to anyone who might want a project boat. It’s in fairly good condition so it would be a real waste if it was crushed before someone had the chance to use her.

In addition, her Force outboard isn’t seized and we are confident that it will work again. The chances are the boat has been sat unused for some time, if the covers are anything to go by.
