Help from the Marina

Recognising the danger, the Chichester Marina team stepped in to help coordinate her removal. The yard crew dropped the Heron’s mast and prepared the vessel for transport. Then the Heron was hoisted directly onto the flatbed truck we dispatched to the site.

While saying goodbye to a wooden classic is always bittersweet. The relief for the owner was undeniable. Stepping away spared him from an increasingly risky situation. And immediately halted the thousands of pounds in marina storage fees piling up year after year.

Fully Recycled
