Boatbreakers are happy to support Stolenboats.org.uk which is a site set up to help highlight the problem of boat and marine equipment theft across the UK using data from the Police databases or Insurance companies.

Our friends at The LightHouse have asked us to put out a request for any old charts that you may have. They're looking for old nautical charts that they can use to be transformed into stunning works of art with integrated lighting systems.

The Boatbreakers team have made an exciting addition to the team this week with the arrival of our new work boat "Solent Spray". She is a Mitchell 22 Sea Angler in perfect condition.

It's been a little while coming but the Boatbreakers team are finally on Instagram. We will try to post lots of pictures of all the interesting things that come through our scrapyard in Portsmouth as well as all the remote places we have to get boats out of.

It's been a busy couple of weeks at our yard in Portsmouth with a number of new arrivals joining our queue of boats waiting to be chopped up and recycled.

At Boatbreakers since the new year we have been busy in the office giving our website a new look. We want Boatbreakers to not only be a destination for those who want to dispose of their boats but also a platform used for teaching safe disposal practices and creating relationships with potential boat breaking partners.
