Topper Topaz Boat Collected for Recycling in Buckinghamshire

Topper Topaz Recycling
The Boat breaking team were out on the road again to collect a Topper Topaz dinghy from the side of a house. The dinghy had apparently been stored there for a number of years. Sadly her family had grown out of love with dinghy sailing. She had since sat there as a reminder of their childhood fun on the water.
With the kids grown up and moved away, the parents decided it was time to clear up. Our team arrived and set about lifting the boat from next to the house. The Topper was heavier than expected but after removing the bung it was clear why. About 5 years worth of rain soon poured out of the hull. After a few minutes the Topaz was back to being a light plastic racer.
Another Dinghy
Our team carried her a short distance to our waiting truck and secured her for the journey home. Her owner then surprised us as she explained her owner also wanted a dinghy removed. It seems the news that we were in town had spread and we were soon around the corner loading another dinghy.
The second dinghy like the Topper Topaz had sat in the garden for at least 10 years. We backed our truck up to the property and loaded the second dinghy on top. You could see the relief on the owners face as a small corner of her garden was suddenly reclaimed.
Garden or Garage
If you have an old boat like the Topper Topaz in your garden or garage then get in contact. The best part of collecting the Topaz is that because the hull is plastic rather than GRP it can be sent for full recycling.
