Step 2: Arrange for us to view the boat
You’ll receive a phone call within 1-4 working days from one of our team. During that call our team will arrange to view up your boat at a time that is convenient for you. If we like what we see and we think that the boat can be sold we will then do the deal.
Step 3: We collect your Boat
We will then collect the boat and bring her back to our yard in Portsmouth. The boat will be listed for sale on our network of sites, and when the boat sells the profits will go to the charity of your choice.
Step 4: You’re Done!
Q. What type of Boats can I donate?
You can donate any type of boat to our “Donate a Boat to Charity” scheme. From sailing dinghies and motorboats to yachts and work boats.
Q. What condition does the boat need to be in?
We are able to accept boats in almost any condition, as long as there is still enough value in the boat to cover the costs of transportation and storage and still make a profit. In the case of a wreck or a sunken boat, this type of boat has no value and in fact will cost money to dispose of her properly. Therefore we cannot accept this type of boat in our ‘Donate a Boat to Charity’ scheme.
Q. Will it cost me anything to donate my boat?
There is no cost to you when donating your boat. If we accept your boat as a donation, the cost of any transportation and storage will be deducted from the sale price of the boat. Any profit made from the sale will then be donated to the charity you specified.
